Careers in Depth Ltd, a not - for- profit limited by guarantee organisation, (Cid) is committed to protecting your personal data and handling it responsibly. This policy covers the personal data that Cid collects whenever you interact with us, including when you use our website and when you correspond with us (such as by email or over the phone).

We never share your information with any third party. If we wish to access or share your data in any way not described in this privacy policy, we will contact you beforehand and only proceed with your explicit written consent.

3. Data we collect and how we use it
When you submit a form on our website, the submitted data is sent to us. We use this data to contact you in relation to your enquiry. The data we collect is treated as strictly confidential and access to data is limited solely to the members of our staff who require that data to perform their duties associated with delivering the services you request from us.

The personal data we collect from you includes:
·       the name and contact details that you provide when you make an enquiry or become a client
·       your anonymised browser or device information when you access Cid’s website
·       your communications with us and documents necessary to provide you with services you have requested

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, your data is only stored securely by Careers in Depth and we have put in place suitable procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Your personal information, including a copy of your introductory application letter and a record of the conclusion of your preliminary free consultation will be retained until such time as you instruct us to destroy your data. You are able to do this at any time by contacting us at careers@careersindepth.com.
Once you have used our services, we may contact you to follow up on your career progress as and when necessary. We may also use the data we retain for analysis purposes for planning, developing and refining our service, as it is valuable for helping understand our clients’ consultation needs.

We may occasionally make changes to this privacy policy. Following any changes, the date at the top of the privacy policy will be updated. If any change allows for the wider access to or sharing of data, such changes will only apply to data collected after the date of the updated privacy policy and we will notify you of any updates.
